What the Summer Analyst Program Aims to Achieve
The purpose of this program is to solidify your understanding of the industry you plan to specialize in. Before researching individual companies it is imperative that you have a clear understanding of the factors that affect your industry. In order to be an expert in your respective industry you must have a comprehensive understanding of the inputs that affect the financial markets on a daily basis and the effect that it will have on the companies that you are making your analysis on. A sound investment decision made one day could unexpectedly reverse the next as a result of an external event. After conducting the research required for this program you will be able to know your industry and understand the key factors that affect it so that you are able to successfully make a solid stock pitch and are able to monitor your position effectively.
