After completing an Honours Bachelors of Commerce degree in Economics and Finance at the Rotman School of Management, Shoeb joined TD Securities. Here he worked in its risk management group having exposure to the firm’s Fixed Income, Equities and Credit Derivatives trading portfolios. From here, he went on to study an MBA at McGill University with a concentration in International Business. Following this, he joined Algorithmics (part of the Fitch Ratings group) as a lead consultant for the Credit Solution, but also delivers solutions for Market and Regulatory Capital risk.

Outside of Finance, Shoeb has full time experience in Marketing Research with AC Nielsen as a consultant, and in Private Client Investing with BMO Nesbitt Burns. Furthermore, he is also Alumni of the University of Manchester (England) and the University of Melbourne (Australia), where he has significant exposure to markets in those regions. He has also lived in Spain and Dubai.

Overall, Shoeb has 5 years of design/facilitation experience, over 5 years Consulting experience and over 8 years of Financial Services experience. Shoeb has been based in both the Toronto and London (England) but has consulted throughout the globe.
